What happened if Charlie had fallen inside the void when Kong was chasing them and the bridge fall? What happens if instead of getting sick something else happens? Something like a mutation to help him survive the other world. What if that mutation allowed him to go back to the island and help Kong? Then what happened when his dad and the others came back for him? What if not only they came to the island seeking Charlie, and not to save him.
