The only part Jang Man Wol hated about being a half-ghost was, exorcising humans.

She wouldn't admit it, but some of her experiences were actually heartwarming and nice.

However, when she's ordered to exorcise Hae-soo, a sixteen year old in the era of Goryeo dynasty by the very deity who's punished her, she'd rather stay trapped on earth for another thousand years than exorcise a naive, soft-spoken girl like her.

But Man-wol doesn't have a choice.

And so, when she wakes up as Hae-soo one morning, the girl's bubbly personality turns cold, feisty and fiery instead, surprising everyone around her.

But little does she care, because there's no way she's going to live as Hae-soo taking in insults and tolerating bullying. So while Man-wol learns to live life a little as Hae-soo, make friends and be loved, she also makes sure, that no one would dare and bully the girl again.

However, when life begins to move a little ahead, Man-wol discovers, Hae-soo, the soft-spoken, naive, sweet girl is not exactly what she appears to be and hides a dark past with dark secrets that she intends to keep the same way and ruin those who try to become a hindrance in her plans.
