Miles and Gwen had been best friends since freshman year. They had also both been denying their romantic feelings towards each other for that long, despite their obvious attraction and undeniable chemistry. They were both stuck in their own worlds, too consumed by their own feelings to consider the other's.
But this year, it was going to be different. Miles was coming off of the high of summer, ready to start junior year, look at colleges, and most of all... to tell Gwen his feelings. Whatever those hard-to-decipher feelings are.
No Heroes AU where they all go to school together for drama and social dynamics. Deaths of mentors have occured, backstories (minus the hero part ofc) and jealousy ensue.
