" Wszedłem do ogromnego pomieszczenia gdzie znajdowało się lustro. Nie widziałem siebie w nim. Pokój był biały, lecz sufit pomalowano w motywie kosmosu. Powstała w ten sposób iluzja spadającego sufitu. W ten sposób czułem się lekki i wysłany do czarnej dziury pod ksieżycem. Podobało mi się to. Najdziwniejsza rzecz ze wszystkich była ta, że sala nie obejmowała więcej niż metraż kawalerki z oddzielną łazienką, białym łóżkiem, szafą, szafką nocną, na niej lampka i krzesłem ze stołem w tym samym kolorze stojącym na samym środku.
Łoże idealnie pościelone i zmieniane każdego dnia rano w czasie śniadania stało przy drzwiach. Pod zakratowanym dużym oknem moją uwagę przykuło szpitalne posłanie ze skóry. Do niego były przyszyte starannie pasy. Grube i silne. Obok stał metalowy stolik z skrzynkami i szklanymi buteleczkami, a z prawej strony mieściła się biała gablota z różnymi chemikaliami i bakteriami. "
