Gus is finally able to relax, or is he. He has everything, friends, family, home, a boyfriend. But he may not be fighting the isles anymore but now he's fighting himself. 13 year old Gus is getting worse with age, his anxiety and trust issues along with his unnaturally strong illusions are not mixing well and he is loosing stable control over it. It doesn't help that Boscha and Bria have teamed up to pick on him and his boyfriend. He just wants to feel safe but he never can.
Matt is happy but mostly on edge. He actually has good friends and a boyfriend who is too pure for him. But something is off with Gus and he just wants to know what. He's never really been the empathetic type but now he just wishes he was.
Taking on his boyfriend's issues along with his own has been stressful on Matt and he just wants to make it go away. He's been angry and moody and it has been impacting his new friends and even his boyfriend.

At 17 years old Luz decided to run from home she manage to go between realms and ended up on the Boiling Isles.
