"What if... when Draco Malfoy first met Hermione Granger at 11 years old, on their first year in Hogwarts... what if he developed a crush for the smart bushy-haired girl?
Draco really admired Hermione, her inteligence, her quick thinking. And, to top it, she was first in class... beating even him, a child raised to believe purebloods were especial and no one could compare.
But, upon sharing with his family his admiration towards the amazing young muggle born girl, he was immediately punished by his father for talking about a mudblood like that. Lucius Malfoy threatened to hurt his mother and kill the girl if Draco ever talked about her in that way again.
As the years passed, Draco became good at pretending he hated mudbloods and blood traitors and Harry Potter, while secretly doing everything in his power to aid Harry in his mission to stop Voldemort.
Draco kept his mask on... until one day... when the Trio was captured and taken to the Manor for torturing. What will Draco do then? What if he actually saved them?"
