It felt like drowning. As if freezing water was filling her lungs making it hard to breathe even while the blood pounded behind her water stuck gaze. However, it wasn't like it was in movies. When someone is scrambling for even the smallest bit of air as they were being pulled further and further way from the surface. From that light just above the dark dank water. Hermione could practically feel death's touch as she scanned the broken mangled bodies scattered around Hogwarts grounds.
