(Art in every chapter!) Myths surrounded the uncharted island to the west. It was said to hold a magic treasure, but sailors who tried to claim it rarely made it back. Those who did return spoke of a haunting song that lured them in, only to be followed by a violent storm. No accounts existed of anyone who had reached the shore and lived to tell the tale. The island's man-eating guardian rises from the depths to slaughter those who survive. With nothing left to lose, Sun Wukong took on the challenge, but quickly found himself drowning. He found himself shipwrecked, and he realized that someone saved his life. Little did he know, his savior was not what he seemed. When the Pirate King woke up, he came face-to-face with the source of the singing, a siren unlike any other. The guardian of the island, Tidesinger, whose real name was Macaque, was sharp-tongued and wickedly beautiful. At first, it was a game of survival. Wukong flirted like his life depended on it, while Macaque secided whether this foolish pirate was worth the trouble of keeping alive. But things soon turned into something far more dangerous. As Wukong unveiled the siren's secrets, he realized he wasn't just fighting for his own life, but for Macaque's, too.
