Unbeknownst to Asgrad's populace Thor and Loki had a sister, her name was Freya. A former commoner in Alfheim  (a world full of Elves) Freya was born in a time of battles, her home in ruins and her family a distant memory Odin takes Freya with him back to Asgard and treats her as if she was his own. Frigga quickly falls in love with the idea of having the daughter she's always wanted but was never able to have, but after the Bifröst was destroyed and Loki had fallen into the void it became clear that Freya wasn't just another normal Alfheimian like Odin and Frigga believed, cursed to transform into a large beast Odin quickly takes Freya to Midgard in order to protect her and the people of Asgard, Odin being Odin gave her to a man strong enough to teach her control, that man is Nick Fury.
