Clyde deals with a lot of problems at home and the only way he can deal with them is with his good buddy Tolkien. they are complete opposites. Clyde is a jock, captain on the football team and player on the baseball team while Tolkien was a basketball player. Clyde is a very irresponsible person, very unorganized, and not exactly smart, as for Tolkien, he is the complete opposite, responsible, smart, and organized. Clyde isn't exactly ok with his body though. he isn't exactly on the slim side, which makes him very emotional. how could someone like Tolkien like someone like Clyde? does Clyde also like Tolkien? is Clyde even gay?? some creek.

He moved to south park for his sophomore year after he was practically forced out of his home town.
