After everything, Sunny chose to persevere and mend the broken trust and relationships. Just as he is about to walk into his house he is stopped by someone in their car. His father, who he hasn't seen in years, offers him a chance to stay and graduate in Faraway. The emotions of the aftermath is on the rise, threatening to take everything with it.

General A/N- this is a general fic, no shipping. I got ship happy on accident though and there's one sorta unpopular rare pair I started to really like but it would be a VERY slow burn and won't be present in book one and the majority, if not all, of book two.

!!This fanfic has MAJOR spoilers from Omori!! Kel is entering high school again with his friends. As little time goes on, the feelings he had for Sunny when they were younger had suddenly returned. How will he deal with these feeling? Things that should be kept in mind: This takes place in the point of view of Kel (So it is 1st person POV), this is a modernized alternative of the main story, and these events are taking place after Mari's death in the real world. That is, until their new roommate starts muttering things in his sleep. Constant nightmares plague their friend almost every night. And one evening, while Sunny is taking a nap, he whispers a name that none of his friends recognize. Who is.. "Omori"? ------ On Sunny's end of the stick, things aren't doing so well. Being back at Faraway has proven to be a mistake, as the familiar place kept triggering back memories. The stress is so much, that Sunny finds himself accidentally falling back into his old habits. His dreams. While he's there, he's greeted by good old Omori, who is just as upset as he is with him being back. HEADSPACE shouldn't exist anymore. And it won't. They'll make sure of that.
