Follow the journey of our Main characters as they navigate through difficult situations and find ways to support each other while drifting and unlocking secrets and discovering more then they thought they have already found out.

Carolyn lives with her mother and sister on a farm on the outskirts of a dangerous forest. It is rumoured that monsters live within. Monsters that eat people. The three women try their best to keep themselves safe-unsuccessfully. One night, one of these monsters smashes into their home and they run for their lives. The monster catches Carolyn and drags her to his cave. She expects to be murdered and eaten. Instead, he keeps her alive for another purpose. One that confuses him as much as revolts her. No matter what he says, she cannot, will not, be his mate. No matter how good he smells. No matter how amazing he feels. No matter how much she starts to yearn for human flesh ...
