Nathan Arturo's House is expecting company from House Damien. The vampire Lady Dahlia and a small party is coming to the United Territories from Italy for an informal visit. He's wary due to past conflict between their houses.
Dahlia's daughter, Margaretta, doesn't make things easy for any of them. Beautiful she might be, but her disdain for being in the House "responsible" for her father's death becomes very clear.
Still, Nathan finds himself trying to change her attitude. It's going to be hard when she won't give him the time of day.
