After an unexpected storm occurs, causing unexplainable reports of citizens of Woodstone to suddenly have powers, Lydia, the eldest daughter of a scientist, who also grew up in Woodstone, knows only one person could have caused this: her father. But before she could confront him about this, he had kidnapped her little brother, who he had experimented on, leaving Lydia alone in her small town of Woodstone, with her newfound powers; Telekinesis, healing, shield and she has yet to discover her fourth.
She's now on a mission to track down the 9 people who aided her father and brother's escape
Though, on her travels, she meets Alyssa, a bold girl around her age, who tells her that she recently ran away from a bad home. So, Lydia felt she had to take her in and live in her apartment with her. She soon learns Alyssa's powers, fire, Shape shifter, she can turn into any living thing, animals, humans, and double, she has a twin that can join her body and get out.
Together, with Alyssa and her brother, Cameron, they travel across the country in the adventure of finding the
modern-time-mad-scientist father who started all of this mess and chaos.
