Canterlot High thought it would be free after their hectic Friendship Games and their terrifying time at Camp Everfree, and it really did seem like it at the time. For once, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie thought their junior year would just be school. But things get a little crazy. Again. And it's not all about magic this time.

Everyone hoped that Cadence would take over Crystal Prep's principal position, but Cadence never took the role. She got another offer abroad and decided to take it. And the students of Crystal Prep and Canterlot High will face the wrath of Principal Dolores Cinch -- the sister of Principal Abacus Cinch. She wants a rematch of the Friendship Games, with a few "minor" adjustments to the intensity.

Dolores Cinch is up to no good. And Canterlot is in for some turbulence. But what's worse? Cinch has her eyes on a certain rainbow-haired girl as the trigger to her plan, whatever it may be.

The Barbie Adventure: Barbie in the Nutcracker by girl_of_many_worlds

I saw that they have these with the ponies so I did it with the humans. Anyways. So Pinkie Pie has begun her annual "Barbie movie marathon" campaign, and since Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle aren't familiar with this, they convince the rest of the group to just try it and see how it goes. However, when Pinkie slides in the DVD for the first film, "Barbie in the Nutcracker," and the movie starts playing, their geodes link with the movie by magic, and they get slurped into the silver screen. In the world of Clara and the Nutcracker, the Equestria Girls have to go with Clara to find the Sugar Plum Princess to help get them back home. However, the characters in the movie are not only astounded that the girls possess magical qualities, but even start to suspect that one of them could secretly be the Sugar Plum Princess (much to Sunset, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack's dismay). And not only are suspicions rising, they have to fend off the Mouse King and his army, who feel that the Equestria Girls are a bigger threat than Clara and the gang. Can the group find the true Sugar Plum Princess and get everyone back to where they belong, Clara back at her estate and the Equestria Girls out of the movie? You'll have to read to find out. The Barbie Adventure VIII: Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses by girl_of_many_worlds

Starlight knows. She now knows everything. Upon seeing the seven Equestria Girls leaving their last movie, they have no choice but to spill their story. Of course, she insists on going too, saying she can replace Rainbow Dash temporarily (as she's down for the count currently). And so they do. Now in the movie world, they meet 12 sisters and their father, King Randolph. And as a twist, Randolph's mind has changed to believe that the newcomers are just seven more of his daughters. Even the sets and plotlines change to add to this effect. Of course, the 12 sisters are quick to figure out the truth, just as Randolph brings in his cousin, Duchess Rowena, to turn them into "proper princesses." Rowena takes away everything the girls love. But one night, they all uncover a magical world, where they can dance to their hearts content. Starlight finds herself falling in love with a fantastical movie world she doesn't want to leave. But like with the golden pavilion, all good things had to reach an ending. And in the case of the movie, they have to stop Rowena before she poisons Randolph and takes over the kingdom.
