Those words never rang more true. It was exactly Jessica had done. Let her heart fall into careless hands and she was miserable. One day, while visiting her sister Lynne, she meets the charismatic Pete Burns. Can he change her life for the better or is she doomed for a life of misery.

Lynne and Pete are not together in this story but are very good friends and there may be some things that may be hard for some viewers and will be noted before each chapter if they occur.
