Ceresse Davina West lived a glittering life in the U.S.-money, comfort, and everything she thought she wanted. But when her perfect world crumbles after a betrayal she didn't see coming, she finds herself boarding a flight to the one place she swore she'd never return to: the Philippines. Haunted by a message from an unknown number and carrying the weight of a past she left behind, Ceresse lands not just in a different country-but in a version of herself she thought she'd buried. Old memories stir, secrets resurface, and the rain begins to fall once again. In a place full of fragments and forgotten corners, will Ceresse find closure-or uncover something she was never meant to remember? - Original book cover from Canva. Different stories, different fates, different lessons. This is a collection of my short stories and one-shots that introduce you to different perspectives and aim to share valuable messages about love and life. - Sometimes, we just need a story that allows us to feel the things that make us human. That vulnerability, the warmth...I hope you could feel them through my pieces. May the words from these stories reach and embrace the depths of you. Like a hug from someone you just need to feel alive again, the kind that gives you the strength to try and face everything once more. Note that: Some of the stories you'll find here were written a few years ago (around 2020-2022), some previously, and all are compiled here. They are not sorted by date or in any particular order (except for those with several parts), so I can't say the ones on the first pages were the first ones I wrote. I might put here some of my upcoming or soon-to-be-written short stories as well. So you can always pick randomly and read. Enjoy reading! I do not solely own the book cover I used. I utilized and edited the elements from Canva. All credit goes to the rightful owner. - airis, 2023
