On my eighteenth birthday I meet Yaris and his group of friends/soldiers. They completely up-end my world immediately and for the foreseeable future.

My name is Jade. I and Yaris, or Aris as he prefers that I call him, and his friends are from another planet that is no longer inhabitable. They brought me here, to Earth, when I was five years old. I have no memory of this or of them. Journey with me as I get to know them, overcome insurmountable obstacles, gain special powers and fall in love, not once, but twice.
