Stingray Princess

It has been arranged since their births that Kotoko and Kankuro would marry one day. They often traveled to one another, Kotoko and her family traveled to the warm kingdom of Suna during the summer and Kankuro and his family traveled to the kingdom of Kiri during the colder months. As the years pass the two seem to be getting along as friends. Soon enough, a loyal guard to the Kiri family catches Kotoko's eye, though it seems that he has ulterior motives.

After a fight during the last year of visitations, Kotoko and the guard, Fudo, disappear into the night assumed dead leaving Chojuro and Kisa the only survivors of the attack with no recollection of what occurred, Kankuro spends his time endlessly training and researching to find any clues that could lead him to Kotoko's whereabouts, though he is unsure if he will like what he finds.
