The Winged by _Tiny_Stories_

Surviving can be difficult when you're only a few inches tall. Fanged beasts see you as their prey, every creature is bigger than you, and the world seems to work against small things. Not to mention the struggles of getting from place to place... but the worst of it all? Humans. Once a year, every year, summer sweeps over the forest. The sun warms the leaves and the damp melts away until the world of the Winged flourishes. Those warm months are when survival becomes the hardest. Drawn by the beauty of the forest, humans of all kind invade the already dangerous home of the small Winged people. Fear of these monsters is shared throughout the tribes. One sacred piece of advice is known: avoid humans at all costs. They know only how to destroy and hurt. ___ Despite the protests of her close friend, Azure accepts a mission that takes her from the safety of her tribe. Things begin well despite her trepidation of the approaching summer months. That is, until she falls right into the hands of the very creatures she feared. ___ Completed! ••• Oh yeah, I think I forgot to mention, some of us humans are "gifted" as we like to say, in short, we have powers, well most of us do, anyway, powers that only show themselves when we turn 18. That's why an eighteenth birthday is such a big deal. Please note, that our powers come in all shapes and sizes. From elemental magic, to mind control, mind reading, time traveling, and even shapeshifting, and many, many, more. Even though some humans don't get powers, it's still better than getting what is known as The Soulmate Gift. What is it? You may be asking yourself. Well... It only appears when one of the pair is in danger or is about to marry or spend their lives with someone other than their soulmate. So yeah, heartbreak is definitely present in the equation. Humans have all but been wiped out. The few that remain stay in hiding and some even turn on their own kind just to survive. This story follows Michael. One of these few humans. Follow him as he winds up caught by one of these giants who ends up being the most unlikely ally in his mission to find out why the giants invaded and to reclaim Earth for the humans.

Ernwood Forest is home to winged people no bigger than a person's hand. Hidden away from the eyes of all humans, they live within the woodlands in three secrete tribes. Things can be tough in a world so much bigger than you, but the tribes are strong and protect the tiny people against all dangers. Even humans. Three tribes. Only three. That is the truth everyone knows. Until Rosin discovers that what she grew up believing doesn't even scratch the surface of what's out there in the forest. --- Rosin Magnolia hates people. The safe refuge everyone around her calls 'home' feels like a prison to her- so when she learns that there are other tribes somewhere in the forest, the decision to leave is hardly a choice. She makes it her mission to search the woodlands and bring the lost tribes together. But to do that, she'll have to leave her own tribe behind... which means leaving the people she loves most in the world. The forest is rife with predators. Beasts like humans; towering beasts that prowl through the trees without care or concern for the life they might trample. Leaving might just turn out to be a suicide mission. But Rosin soon begins to wonder who is in more danger- the tribes she is looking for, or the one she left behind... --- ⚠️ Mild fear/ violence warning (things get just a lil intense at parts) 💃 Ongoing story, I'll update whenever life lets me 💀 ❤️ To anyone who has read the other two stories set in this little world, this story includes a lot of information that was left out in the main storyline, mostly about Rosin (obviously lol) Wren and Aspen Hope you enjoy 💕💕 Please comment/vote/ let me know your thoughts!!!
