This is a fan fiction of the second generation of the Twisted Series by the author Ana Huang. All characters belong to Ana Huang, and I created two of my own.

Everyone knows that under James Chen's charming demeanour he is cold and broody.
Top student in AP Physics, Astronomy and Aerospace Engineering, James feels like nothing could stop him from getting his scholarship at Granite Bay University and graduating as an Aerospace Engineer.

Until her.

His kryptonite. Dahlia Maura Harper, daughter of the deadly Christian Harper.
Ever since she attended Grand Ridge Highschool she has made it clear that she doesn't take James' shit and challenges him in classes he would've actually considered himself to be the best in. She challenges him like no one ever has. And he likes to challenge her too.

The rivalry gets even more heated this year, until they have no choice but to work together on a project they have been assigned to. Their stubborn selves refuse to back out of this project and they try to work together as best they can. But what happens when they both start to realise that it may not be hatred that they feel, but something far stronger?

Cold Eyes

Her world had never been soft. She'd learned too quickly that people could love you one day and rip the ground out from under you the next. So she built herself out of armor: cool smirks, careless words, the lie that she didn't care. She convinced everyone around her that she was untouchable, that she didn't need anyone to stay. That way, if they left, it wouldn't matter. But the truth was, she longed for the chaos. She trusted it more than stability, because at least chaos was honest. At least when something was toxic, when it was tension-filled and dangerous, you knew exactly where you stood- you knew it could hurt you. What unsettled her more was the idea of something pure, something kind, because that was where betrayal liked to hide. He's cold. She's reckless. And somewhere between jealousy, secrets, and a Halloween Party that changes everything Athena learns that sometimes the scariest thing isn't being hated. It's being wanted. *** Writing for my bestfriend!
