Rhian Mistral is the second ruler of the Mistral dynasty, succeeding his brother Rafal after his sudden and untimely death. He lives his life eternally, being blessed by a magical Pen that records the history of the Great Empire. The Pen is revered as a God, especially during Rhian's reign, with dubious origins.
Prince Sophos, the son of the previous emperor and his wife, on the other hand, seems to live life only for himself and for fun. He also appears to be mortal. Unluckily, he also has a valid claim to the throne. A claim that is used to Rhian's disadvantage.
Things start to change for the worse when both Rhian and Sophos do unspeakable things to get their thrones, and when the people start choosing sides and claiming one or the other as the true emperor.
Ultimately, the battle comes between man and Pen, threatening the whole existence of the empire. During this journey, monsters and horrors are encountered, and dangerous secrets are uncovered.
Most characters are Soman Chainani's, with the exception of my OCs.

Nux loses in the fight and taken as a slave of Prince Ynn, Prince Ynn order his men to brutally torture him and to make sure he dies painfully and slowly with the most horrible way. After weeks past the doctors cannot cure prince Ynn of his injury which Nux cause him, he becomes worse and worse day by day. He was wondering how did his long-lost bow and arrow end in the hand of that man whom he has never seen or met before, and why his injury never heals with ordinary medicine and why his wounds turn into a charming tattoo later.
