From afar, for you, the fields smile
From far away, she walks towards you shyly, then surrounds your waist and hugs you tenderly to her chest
From afar, almond trees look at you and their flowers nod
From far away, she walks among her curved paths among the trees
From far away, the linden roams, distributing heralds to the shadows
From afar, you plunge into your estrangement and fade into exile

Carlisia ran as fast as her sore legs would let her. Her top was ripped and her knees scabbed from all the time she had tripped on the rough patchy ground. She tripped again, blood dripped from the corner of her mouth as a stone bust her lip. She quickly got up, and continued to run. She could feel his presence. Not chasing her, no. Observing her. He was amused how she thought she could run away. Carlisia's knees buckled underneath her again, she was so tired and in so much pain. A sob escaped her lips, she couldn't take it anymore. Sniffling, she took deep breaths, trying to get up but her legs wouldn't let her. They were just too bruised. She sighed, this was it perhaps. She rolled onto her back and pushed herself up against a tree, just as a figure emerged in front of her. "Tired I see?" The dark voice said after a moment of silence. "P-please just let me go." Carlisia whispered. Her throat was dry from all the screaming earlier. "Where would you go Carlisia? Hmm? There is no where to run to." He mused as he casually strolled in front of her. Clearly amused by the situation. "Well, there are places." He said sarcastically, swatting his hand in the air for emphasis. "Just not ones where you can hide." He tusked finally looking at her straight in the eyes. "There isn't a place in this world, no nook, no cranny, where I can not get you from. I need you to understand that love." He said as he crouched in front of her and tenderly brought a strand of her loose locks to his nose and took a deep breath, momentarily closing his eyes. "I will find you from any depth of this universe." he breathed out. Tears fell from Carlisia's eyes as she looked at the side, trying to push her face away from him, breathing as if a deer caught in headlights. "Well, not that I will let you leave in the first place." He chuckled, tugging at the strand as he finally opened his eyes. They were once again golden. Copyright 2021 ©

"The fuck you are leaving me." He snapped and growled at his mate. She was calm as she was ever be regardless of his snapping. She sighed and turned around to leave without saying something to him because it was worthless. There was no point in talking and especially to him. He grabbed her arm before she put one step. "Where do you think you are going Ara?" He growled so loudly as everyone shuddered watching their interaction. She quickly remove his hand as anger rolling off of her in waves. "Don't. Touch. Me. So you think I will live here and watch you mate and breed that female." She snapped at him. "She meant nothing Ara." He said after a minute. She laughed, literally laughed but without any humor. "That's why you were fucking her in your office just a minutes before, don't you?" "It was a mistake." He tried to reason with her. "But in your case mistakes happened in more than one time. And they said mistakes happened only one time." She said sarcastically. "I don't need her. I need you." He said again desperately. "Lies. All lies coming from your mouth. I feel disgusted just by looking at you, let alone talking to you. And you said you need me? Ha. Very funny. You don't need me and I sure as hell don't need you. This female behind your back is more enough than me. Breed her, mark her or fuck her. I DON'T FUCKING CARE." "I am sorry. I am really fucking sorry." He said brokenly as kneeling on the ground. A small laugh escaped from her lips. "Isn't it too late for that mate?" And she left just like that while single tear rolled down her cheeks. He had made mistakes. Mistakes that will cost him everything. He knew he had lost her and this time completely. She was broken. Again. He did break her, repair her just to break her again leaving a broken shattered woman but strong willed. ---------------------------------------------------- The cruel, sadistic Rogue Alpha and his caring, lovable Witch mate. Will it be too late for him to say sorry?

Everything I went through was worth it. "Don't worry, mommy's coming," I said in a baby voice hoping to comfort him even though he wasn't crying. My heart dropped in my chest when I saw it was empty. No baby in sight. "Gray!," I screamed loudly like I was getting stabbed over and over again. He ran into the nursery, scanning the area for any danger. "He's gone! Our baby's gone!" His eyebrows furrowed as his eyes softened realising what happened. Just as quick as it came, it vanished and he was back with the icy look in his eye. The one he had when we first met. For a moment, I was afraid of him going back to his old self before dismissing that thought and focusing on my missing newborn son. Don't worry, I'm coming for you, my little bubba... Will the angel given to him melt the Alphas ice solid façade or not? Is she helping him escape his darkness or is she dragging him into hers? Read to find out... Cover by @belladz07

Beneath a sky blanketed in the velvet embrace of night, a soft wind stirred the leaves of ancient oaks, carrying with it the scent of rain yet to fall. In the quiet town of Evershore, where the ocean's rhythmic murmur brushed against the cliffs like a lover's sigh, there lived a woman named Isabella. She had spent most of her life in the gentle comfort of routine, her days flowing like the tide-predictable, safe, and calm. Yet beneath the surface of her carefully constructed world, there was a yearning. It was as if her heart had once known a great love, a love that had slipped away like the sand between her fingers. She didn't know why it felt this way; only that something deep within her had been left unsatisfied, a part of her soul forever seeking something just out of reach. One evening, as the sun dipped low and painted the sky in shades of gold and rose, Isabella stood at the edge of the cliff that overlooked the vast, infinite ocean. The wind, carrying the promise of rain, whispered through her hair, and for the first time in years, she allowed herself to dream of something more than what she had. There was a restlessness in her, a quiet understanding that her life had been a quiet prelude to something she could not yet name. It was then that she saw him. A figure emerged from the mist that clung to the water's edge, a man whose presence seemed to defy time and space. His dark hair tousled by the wind, his gaze intense yet distant, as though he had come from a place beyond the horizon, a world Isabella had never known but somehow remembered. His eyes met hers-strangers' eyes, but not unfamiliar-and something inside her stirred, as though a forgotten part of her had just been awakened. The world held its breath. The sea sighed. And Isabella knew, with a certainty she could not explain, that her life was about to change forever.
