My own take on the super Mario Kingdom (ill try to maintain the mario worlds cannon law but im not studying ALL the games to make a wattpad book).

The story entails the two brothers, neither amatures nor heros, stiving through their harships to aquire what they so ultimately desire. Power, love, destruction. How hate, bitterness and jealousy stikes the very morals people hold dear and slander it senseless.
Emotions rise, Brotherhood breaks, a shining spolight for the enterance of the Lightning hero "Mr L". 

To what extent does one pursue their goal at the expense of those they love, at what point are they to be set asside.All Rights Reserved

I think of the story like this: This isn't the story of a hero slaying a dragon and rescuing the princess. Nor is this a story about a hero who triumphs over evil and rescues the maiden in peril. This is the story of a man, who fights as much with himself, as he does the world around him. He is no hero, he is simply a man, trying to make the best he can of himself, and fix what he broke. He is both the protagonist, and antagonist of this story, because he does as much harm to himself as he does good.
