Luna was only 10 years old when her sister, Star, ran away from home.
Desperately, Luna and her parents search for Star, but they never find her. 
  
  Fast forward to six years later, Luna and her parents move to the sandy beaches of Santa Carla. One day, Luna decides to go to the boardwalk concert, where she suddenly sees a strange girl who resembles her missing sister. 

But...it couldn't be Star, could it?

  Luna follows the girl-and the four mysterious boys who crowd around her-to Hudson's Bluff, stumbling down into a cave that they all go to. 
Unknowingly, she discovers the secret of Santa Carla, 
And finds that her long lost sister is one of them...

  Will Luna be able to save her sister from the fate she put herself into? 
Or will Luna be faced with the exact same life her sister faces?
