A Melody Unsung

Christopher Bahng, "Chan" is a sailor. He's trying to save enough money to become a captain. He dreams of sailing the seas and having adventures worthy of a story. Most importantly, he wants a life with Amelia, the youngest daughter of his town's Lord. However, Amelia disappears one night without a trace. A few years later, Chan encounters a Siren, a species of beautiful fish people known to kill with their songs. Sirens have always been feared by Sailors, they're warned to cover their ears and escape if they see one. But to Chan, this Siren feels eerily familiar.

Amara is a Siren, her life in the sea is simple. She kills when she has to but otherwise remains unseen. She doesn't remember most of her life, but one thing has always been made clear, she should not be spotted by a human under any circumstances. If she is seen, she is to drown them. Amara never understood why this rule applied to her and only her, but she always thought it had something to do with her unknown past. What happens when she is charmed by a sailor?
