Castiel was always different. He liked books, bands, and boys, so you could say he had a bit of a rough time when it came to being around other teenagers. The only people who actually cared for him were his mom and his English teacher. Everyone else either ignored him or bullied him. This is one of the reasons that he hated his school and his life. This is also the very same reason that on October 25, 1999, Castiel was surprised to seemed to have made a friend. This friend was Dean Winchester. He was not like the others.
