When my best friend Leo and I tried to get to Comic Con we never thought we'd wind up being on the only plane that actually crashed all year. Instead of drowning in the freezing waters we chose a different route. We chose a life in shadows and darkness. A life of horror.
Now instead of getting to be happy we have to collect other souls. Instead of rejoicing at being alive, we curse our own existence. This isn't for the feint of heart. Hell, I can barely even write this down. But I swear to you. It's all true. This is the way death really works. Trust me. I've seen it.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is move on, that's what Cassedy has always been told. But when she 'dies', she isn't ready to go.
