I never wanted to be like my parents. They were blinded by money and did anything to get it, even launder it. 

Years after leaving my parents with not a phone call or a text to help them find me, I finally found my calling. Im a fifth grade teacher, living paycheck to paycheck, and good friends with Harlan Thrombey. 

When finding out what my parents did to get money, Ransom accused me of being just as dirty, basically saying I'm using Harlan to get money. Whenever he could, he would belittle me and say how I'm not welcome into his family and that I should stay away.

Then I was attacked on my birthday, and he does everything he can to find out what happened, leaving  he and Harlan to hire Benoit Blanc to solve my mystery.

Ransom didn't really make a good first impression when you met but you certainly did. With a surprising turn of event, Ransom will be there for you when no one else is. Request: Ransom takes care of you while you're sick. Full disclosure, Reader has depression. This is 100% self-indulgent. I have been struggling a lot with my depression and wrote this to make myself feel good. There will be appropriate warnings when depression will come into play during the story. Also, the moodboard is just to give a little insight of what's going to happen during the chapter. There is no physical description in my stories aside from the reader being female.
