footprints in the sand from our laughter and exploration
midnight confessions, under the mercy of the moon
sharing secrets without leaving a trace
a tapestry made with such vivid colors
soft light is used to depict the tender touch of love
tears and victories are intertwined together
we are unable to hide in this kaleidoscope
each tile in its proper location, the puzzle is finished
within this grace-filled fabric, a life is entwined
we cherish the past while thoughtfully reflecting
embracing the pieces and enduring memories
we discover the song of our soul in this mosaic
where we genuinely belong: in a mix of feelings
so let's remember with sincere hearts

She gazed into her dark brown eyes with lust and pain. A rose as red as her tainted lips she'd put behind her ear, still holding it there, never wanting to let go. She put her forehead against hers as she whispered "You're just like a rose, beautiful but when you come too close you sting, not wanting others to see the pain behind your beauty. But you know what, I'm not scared, I won't give up on you no matter how much you make me bleed." She looked deep in thought, biting her lip and raising one of her eyebrows, and finally, she pressed her tainted lips against hers, letting their lips collide. They knew, that now, they would forever crave each others touch, they were in too deep. They'd fallen too hard. Never did they expect that their story wouldn't end there, and that years later they would be telling this exact story to none other than their own kids.
