This was in the early stage of the pirates era, where different people went out to become a pirate to find the Key which can open the treasure that God placed in the earth and because of that the pirates age started and millions of people went out to sea to become pirates and to be able to find the key to open the treasure chest.

16 years later a young boy went out to start his own pirate ship and to become the man that was able to find the key and the treasure chest and bring the world to its inner peace.

Dividing their power into 52 cards that give humans a part of their power, the gods then disappeared leaving behind a prophecy that said one card wielder would rule over them. The rest of humanity then began hunting down the 52 card users with extreme violence, but since a card would randomly pass to another person in the world, they began imprisoning them.
