Ember Rose Black suffers silently by herself every single day, or so it seems not as silently as she thought. But she hates pity...and all popular people. She keeps to herself and hides herself as much as possible, especially at home, trying to blend in, but sticks out like a sore thumb. One horrid morning in first period,  Mr. Peters assigns partners for a two month staker-Ish project, telling them to write about each other's life. Little does Ember Rose know she'll be assigned the assignment with one person she absolutely hated, popular star quarterback, Declan Grey. 

Declan Grey is considered the most popular boy at MHS... He may look happy all the time with his light blue eyes and dark brown hair but don't be fooled.
