Imani, Eugenie, Deasha, and Phoebe are as close as friends can be. Before they graduated high school they made a pact to always stay together and remain best friends. But after a secret and anonymous person referred to as "THEM" threatens to make their dirty little secrets come to light, they start to question everything. THEM forces the four girls to make tough decisions, throw each other under the bus and do the unthinkable in order to keep their secrets from coming to the light. ---------------------- "So you are really going to choose her over me?" Phoebe says with hurt laced in her voice and shown in her eyes. "WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO THINK?!" I shouted to the top of my lungs. The warehouse was amplifying our voices and making even the smallest sound loud. "It's your dam scrunchie left by the body! You killed her! Just admit!" "This has nothing to do with me!" Phoebe nodded her head with tears in her eyes. "I don't even have any secrets! I was just trying to protect your asses!" "Which makes you the perfect candidate for THEM, doesn't it?" Deasha made a fair point, looking at her with raised eyebrows. "You have nothing to lose, nothing to hide. THEM hasn't made you do anything, you are always there and you always know what the hell is going on. It sounds like you are the one who we should be cautious of!" Phoebe looked at me like I betrayed her. But I couldn't help to genuinely believe what Dee was saying. Even Eugenie seemed to believe it. She just didn't say it aloud, but her face told the story. The only person who hasn't been affected by this is Phoebe. -------------------- This story was inspired from the tv and book series "Pretty Little Liars." Braxton University is located in a small, eery town that earned the name "Deathtown" because every year a freshman in college dies in their spring semester. Imani, Deasha, Eugenie, and Phoebe are wrapped up in danger when the anonymous figure "THEM" is out to expose their secrets and see their end. This is a new game with new players. Now that their closest peers are trapped in this situation the stakes are higher. Will they find out who is behind this? ---------------------- I felt like bile was rising in my throat and at any given second I could have thrown up. When Cameron walked around to my side, Imani barked at me, "Try the car again!" I did as she asked, my breathing erratic. "I'm trying, I'm trying!" I screamed in panic. I pressed the pedal with all the strength I had and we moved at best an inch. I was seconds away from vomiting. I kept on pressing the gas, but nothing really happened. I went nowhere. Cameron was calm when he banged on my window. I let out a strangled scream. "Open the door, Briana." He demanded of me, but it was gentle. He was always gentle before he was cruel. "Open the door so we can finally talk. Isn't this what you wanted?" I started banging on the steering wheel. "Come on!" I shouted, tears threatening to fall. "Go!" "Open the door, Briana." This time was more stern and serious. Imani was talking to someone on the phone, voice cracking like she was about to start crying. "Please." was all I could make out from her conversation. He banged both of his hands on the window, spit flying out of his mouth. Cameron enraged at this point. "OPEN THE DOOR!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. -------------------- This story was inspired from the tv and book series "Pretty Little Liars." Trigger Warnings ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
