Ten years after Elric's attack on Hyrule, life finally started to seem to get better, even despite the last monster camps still hiding around Hyrule. 

There was a royal wedding to be had, and the kingdom was excited for new rulers to take up the throne after so many years. 

Perhaps, finally, they would have peace.

Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. How will the mystery unfold and how will Zelda and Link achieve their dreams? I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. But I think I write stories better than I write summaries I promise haha... ~Clean and appropriate for most ages~ There will be some minor blood and other descriptions that may be disturbing for young people. I'd say 12+? Cover art does not belong to me, I don't know who it belongs to. If it's yours and you want it taken down, let me know and I'll do that. No swearing in comments or anything inappropriate please. That being said I would love some constructive criticisms because I want to become a better writer. All rights belong to Nintendo. ~Having returned after two years, I decided to edit The Heroes' Rebirth. I changed (hopefully) all of the spelling errors, fixed the grammar and changed some of the sequences of events. I added some extra scenes as well. Hope you enjoy the revised version :) HR It has been six months after the defeat of Calamity Ganon. Peace and rebirth are beginning to come upon the land of Hyrule once again. Zelda is deep in planning of the repair of Hyrule Castle and Hyrule Castle Town, and Link is busy with the cleansing of the lands from monsters. The two have had almost no time together after their fight with Ganon.
