In the taisho era, a young girl named Rimuru, lost everything in the hands of a powerful demon, fortunately she was taken in and adopted by a kindhearted family of charcoal makers. 
One day, while helping her adopted brother Tanjiro sell charcoal, they found their family was killed except for a lone survivor, Nezuko. Follow their journey as they find and kill Muzan Kibutsuji who is the source of the demons tha plague the world at night






Note: This rimuru is born in the demon slayer universe, but i would add fun references and such from that time I got reincarnated as a slime.

Tanjiro, in a complete panic checks on the oldest sister first, Nezuko, who is still warm and rushes her down the mountain to see Sakura who seems calm about the whole situation. After checking Nezuko's injuries, the three return to the household where Sakura and Tanjiro bury the family's corpses before heading off.
