A collection of brief narratives, diary entries, letters, and other ephemera regarding the life of the tragically beautiful Araminta "Minta" Cromwell. Eldest daughter of the illustrious Sir and Lady Cromwell, and the sister of Jacob Cromwell, she was forced into an engagement at the age of twenty-one. Her life's story is well known, albeit almost always through the eyes of her brother or her fiancé.

As Araminta never left behind a cohesive biography or personal narrative, little has been told from her side of the story. This is an effort to right old wrongs, to bring to light old documents and diary entries that were previously left to mildew. It is, I hope, what she would have wanted.
