"Hi, I'm Maddison Rogers and this is my husband Steve." Nope. Let's try that again. "Hi, I'm Maddison and this is my husband Steve." Nah, one more time. "Hi, I'm Mrs Rogers." Nope. I just could not get that to sound natural, because it was all bullshit. One more time, girl. You can do this. "Hi, I'm Maddison Rawlings and I've been forced to go undercover with the one person at the agency who despises me and believe me, the feeling is mutual. Your life was anything but ordinary - it comes with the package of being an Avenger - but it was never ordinary. You were diagnosed with a phobia at a very young age but the last thing you were to do was let it define you. When Tony Stark recruits you for a mission with the man you have been in love with since you met him all those years ago, and Steve tells you the plan, you are left torn and terrified. You could either cower away and avoid risking your life, or you could stand up and destroy the enemy, doing exactly what you'd been living for: forbidding Thalassophobia from controlling your life and allowing freedom to wash over you like the very thing you were afraid of.
