A group of guests gather in this warm wooden cabin in the mountains just outside Denver, being snowed in one Christmas night: a girl in between her dreams of a past love and a world without him; a boy conflicted between the family that raised him and the one he already found; a student with a decision to make between two career choices in front of them; an engaged couple with their relationship on the rocks; a host with secrets to either confess or continue keeping. All of whom are friends, lovers, rivals, and/or enemies, and have every reason to love and hate each other.
When one of their own is found dead the next day, an investigation is launched between the others, as others wonder who did it. As old secrets, grudges, and feelings that refuse to remain buried rise to the surface.
A criminal mastermind makes a bold move against a wealthy client to put himself in a position to retire in comfort. He has no idea what he's up against when a young widow, desperate to make ends meet, sets her eyes on earning the bounty set on his head.
