Emma Swan is a college student studying architecture. Regina Mills is a single mother working at a diner to support her son. They are from two different worlds but what happens when those worlds collide?

Regina Mills: a 28 year old successful business woman with everything she needs. A boyfriend, money, and parents who had pushed her to be the best. Emma Swan: a hard-working woman ready for a break. She barely gets by with enough for herself, and here's the kicker, her son Henry. A single mother at the age of 23 makes Emma want to pack up and run for the hills. 26 year old Emma Swan finds herself on the streets after not being able to pay rent, desperate for any money, she takes the job at the local College for the art class. Little does Emma know what type of art class it is.

Emma is a a senior battling her ex that broke her heart, her new boyfriend that wants to love her, and her crazy life. Things get twisted and anger spouts. Is Emma really happy. Not only in life but with herself?

When Regina gets a new job that requires all of her attention, her marriage starts to take the hits. One day you will find what makes you happy. One day you will get what you want. Emma, a girl with a past she can't let go turns 21 and getting ready to move to the big apple,NYC, with her grandparents. She's finally moving away from here past that haunted her ever since she was a kid. When things started to go perfect for here... It some what goes off track. Jake on the other hand with the big cash, shows Emma what life is missing.

Emma is just a girl who never knew why everything in her life doesn't work out. She got into last year of college yet, she still manages to embarrass herself. What Emma never knew is that her luck isn’t something unpredictable.

Regina doesn't have any issues. Definitely not. She doesn't commit, but it's not an issue. She doesn't like herself, but it's not an issue, because in her line of work she doesn't have to be herself. While working this particular case in a quaint town called Storybrooke as an undercover agent, Regina investigates her "boyfriend", who incidentally got them a new roommate while she was on a stakeout. Emma Swan sees immediately through Regina's persona, jeopardizing everything she's worked for.
