It's been a rough 2 years since Nicole decided to stay with Richard in Elmore. After a rather abrupt end to her and Richard's relationship, and a rather abrasive and challenging relationship with her parents, Mary and Daniel, she decides to embark into the world on her own. Despite entering legal adulthood, she barely has enough experience at 20 years old, to understand how the world around her operates. Alone, scared, guilt ridden, and uncertain of what lies ahead of her...but still retains the fiery spirit that kept her going for so long as a kid and teenager....she was going to make a valiant effort. Through unfortunate circumstances, she soon settles into the city of New Haven, a developing city filled with anthropomorphic citizens just like her, hopeful and full of dreams of a better life. Life starts out quiet for her here....until she meets a Fox named Jake, a young man the same age as her, with past circumstances and regrets of his own. What starts out as a rather conventional meeting....soon starts an enduring and loving journey between the two. One that will create a bond, unlike both have ever experienced before... (All interactions of love within the story are consensual and cultivated with mature themes/depictions of physical intimacy. Not intended for underage audiences.) I stepped forward and asked, "Where do you want me?" It took me a second to realize what I just said. Shit! I placed a hand on my crimson face and muttered, "Get your head out of the gutter! You know what I meant." He laughed, his voice sounded hoarse and deep even when he's laughing. I peeked at him from the gap I made between my fingers. He was close. So close. He grabbed my hand and took me to the bed. Damn! It did sound sexy. His shirt was loose. Too large for me, and it hung on me like a cloth hung on a hanger. He sat on the bed, criss crossed and pulled me to him. ♡♡♡♡♡ Cassandra didn't come to Brinkley mansion to belong. She came to survive the year and leave. Then there's Easton Brinkley. Arrogant. Reckless. Completely off-limits. And from the moment she arrives, he makes one thing clear-she doesn't belong in his world. He has his reasons. And she's not supposed to care. But Cassandra isn't the type to back down. And Easton isn't used to being challenged. What starts as resentment turns into something neither of them planned... and neither of them can afford. Because some people come with complications. And some feelings were never meant to happen ------ ☆ Copyright 2020 @Books_and_nerds (DestinyK.)
