Through Hyrule's history, it has always been about a princess and her knight. What no one knows is there's always a third. A friend. A helper. May it be a boy, a kind elderly companion, a dog, or something else-the knight always has a partner. 

It has been this way for centuries, since the goddess took pity on the knight's heavy burden, they always grant a companion that perfectly matches what the knight needs. 

This time, the knight, Link, has awoken from the Shrine of Resurrection. He comes across a girl on the Great Plateau, one who appeared out of no where and has simply been tasked with aiding Link. 

But when they meet, it feels like they are forced together, much to both of their dislike. What happens when Link and his chosen aid don't connect? Will they ever get closer? Even friendship seems impossible to them...

BotW is set 100 years after Calamity Ganon struck Hyrule, Link, the main protagonist, must fight against this overlying evil through boss fights (Stone taluses, the Blights or Ganon itself) and monsters. Mipha, Daruk, Revali and Urbosa had died to Waterblight, Fireblight, Windblight and Thunderblight and helped Link as spirits. But what if they had been healed or saved before they died? Would this mean a happy ending for everybody, finally?

Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. How will the mystery unfold and how will Zelda and Link achieve their dreams? I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. But I think I write stories better than I write summaries I promise haha... ~Clean and appropriate for most ages~ There will be some minor blood and other descriptions that may be disturbing for young people. Her life was flipped upside down by not only her mother's death but with her father remarrying a woman named Morissa. Zelda didn't realize how awful her new stepmother would be. She became a servant to her and her new stepsisters as she was forced to complete every task handed to her without complaint. But something doesn't feel right to Zelda, there is something going on that she can't quite figure out. Link is a prince who has been reminded by his father, the King of Hyrule, to find a wife before his nineteenth birthday. Link is having none of that. He really didn't understand why he had to get married so soon, he wanted time to find someone he loved not someone he had to pretend to love. He sneaks out of the castle every now and then, not completely unattended. Sometimes his appointed knight Sheik catches him in the act and follows him. Will Link find what he's looking for? I don't own Zelda, Link, or any Nintendo characters! I only own OC's that I make up! This is strictly for fun and because I want to write it!
