Naomy Beaumont is 17 she is living a normal life, in the UK. In March the world is in shock, terrorist attacks occurred on all continents, killing many and destroying all existing oil and coal supplies, claiming violence and radical change is the only way to save the earth from the ongoing destruction of the ecosystems. The day after Naomy goes to school as usual, but she and a few of her classmates are abducted and brought to Phocé. Naomy and the group , including Alex her brother's friend have to adapt to their new environment and their abductors, forging new friendships and alliances, and learning how to survive, love and fight in a world plagued by politics and corruption. Back in the UK Naomy's friend and brother try to uncover the truth.
