Hildr had been born just a year before her sister, Angrboða, and just her mere existence was enough to terrify her father. Floki was a man who never thought he would have children, never even thought he should. So when he ends up with two of them, it's fair to say he didn't know what to do. He was so worried that he would make his children end up like him, that he distanced himself as much as Helga would let him.

But what happens when Hildr ends up almost exactly like him anyway? What happens when she is haunted by the same dark gods her father is?

She finds someone who makes her so much worse.
