Konoha, the kingdom ruled by the Senju clan and home to the most powerful clans there were.

The kingdom was feared and respected by the rest of the world, but one little crack in its seemingly invincible facade would be enough for the other kingdoms to take action against Konoha. Once word got out about an inner conflict between the royal family and the Uchiha clan, the other kingdoms prepared themselves to strike, not wanting Konoha to stay the most powerful among them.

The conflict was quickly resolved and in order to let the whole world know, the king set a symbol of peace and strength: a marriage between the Senju and Uchiha clan.
