Ever since Taehyung found his soulmate, Meera, Yoongi sometimes wondered what it would be like to have a soulmate. When Jae bumps into him in the lift, all his assumptions of how he thought it would be are shattered. It is entirely different, far from what he imagined and too intense. For someone as introverted, shy and laid back as him, Jae is his polar opposite. She is energetic, extroverted to the core and has the ability to talk non-stop. She is Yin to his yang, his soulmate for life, bound to him by the red string of fate. The concept of Red string of fate is insprired from the Chinese myth of Red string that ties destined lovers. The concept of soulmates needing skin contact to heal/ recharge is inspired from fanfiction by author fallencairns on AO3. The writer in turn was inspired and used the concept of skin contact recharge/healing from some other author. So I acknowledge and credit the idea/ concept to the original creator.
