Genevieve Celeste Mikaelson is the older half-sister of Isabella Swan. Genevieve was from Charlie Swan's first relationship. The relationship he had with Genevieve's mother was very short. Genevieve's parents were actually distant cousins, all to make sure another 'pure' witch was born into the family.

Genevieve grew up in Milan, Italy with her mother's family for most of her life. However, come her high school years, she moved to America to live with her father. Genevieve was the popular girl in high school. She was the head cheerleader and called herself the HBIC. Genevieve graduated with a 4.0 GPA and went to medical school to become a nurse. It was when she was in college that she met Niklaus Mikaelson. The second they looked into each other's eyes, they knew they were meant for each other.

Genevieve never finished her college education. Instead, she became a vampire. Not just any kind of vampire. Klaus didn't want anything less than Original for his mate. So, he hired a powerful witch to complete the same spell that made him and his siblings into vampires. However, there was one thing that Klaus never considered. Genevieve was a siphoner. When Genevieve became an Original Vampire, she retained her witch magic, so she instead because a Vampire-Witch Hybrid. However, she just tells those around her that she is an Original.

This story begins with the first chapter being during Twilight: Eclipse.
