Reforging the Edge

Logan doesn't want to bear the responsibility for Snaff's death. He doesn't want to face the fact that Snaff is gone to begin with. He can't stand the thought that he abandoned his friends in their hour of need. The only thing that sustains him in his self-justification is the thing he left them for to begin with: his one true love, Jennah.

Also, he also struggles with co-dependence. Basically, he worries way too much about things that are not his business and are outside his control. (Unless he's psychologically repressing them, of course.) Mostly he worries about Jennah... which was the cause of all the problems with Destiny's Edge and the death of Snaff. He tries to ignore that though. (His former friends... don't like that too much. In fact at least one of them holds it against him quite strongly.)

Yeah, Logan's a little co-dependent. And self-delusional. He's gonna have to work on that. The dragons will threaten Jennah someday - and that day is coming sooner than Logan expects.

In order to protect his queen, Logan has to find a way to reconcile with his friends... which may involve him admitting things that he can't bear to admit - especially to himself.
