(AU) Every character from Liyue gets transported to a modern universe by an unknown source, and Aether was coincidentally hanging with Xiao at the time, so they stick together in the hardship that is called life in the big house of Zhongli, and Childe(<--he prob payed for it lol)

Xiao streams for money while Aether works his job until Xiao starts getting hate from the media for the words that slipped out of his mouth, and Aether slowly stops having time for Xiao and more often is working at his office.

Xiao slowly slips more and more into a depressed state, worrying his friends, and most importantly, Aether starts realizing the problem one day when he comes home from work.
