Celaena Sardothen, a reclusive and shy yet popular student in Mateldius Academy High, had been asked out by her longtime friend, Alexander, which she accepted benignly. However, they were cut short when their classmate went berserk and started killing everybody she came across. In the afterlife, she was given the chance to return to life, under the condition that she must fight for the Gods in their stead to end a war with their enemies.

However, everything is not what it seems, but she decides that she has no choice but to agree. How would this impact her future?
