Romance
Lucy Burling hates funerals, romance movies, and most of the human race. She meets Dylan Burger, the pastors son, days after her father dies. And before she knows it, they've sparked a friendship. Thing's seem to be going great until Dylan's new girlfriend gets in the way. Lucy and Dylan are falling in and out of touch, and soon she's meeting other people, other...boys. The only problem is that forgetting Dylan isn't as easy as Lucy thought it would be, and soon she has to decide between the new and the old. Authors note: This is my first story that I have ever shared publicly! Re-reading it now I realize it wasn't the best. Instead of deleting it, I'm going to take notes on what I could have done better and use that in my future stories!

Elliot, Sam and Dylan, three brothers who certainly know the meaning of the word, have always been closer than most. Bonded together through a loss that ripped apart their family and sent their father into a depression so deep it lasted the better part of ten years, they've learned to depend solely on each other. But all that changes when their father's girlfriend, Trish, comes to live with them. As sides are taken, battle-lines are drawn and Elliot, Sam, and Dylan must once again learn what it's like to trust. But how can they trust a stranger, when they're not even sure they can trust each other? As Elliot struggles on his own to deal with the one situation his smarts can't get him out of, and Sam and Dylan go to war over the most unlikeliest of girls, a rift made up and lies and secrets begins to grow. Can the brothers pull it together in time to save one of their own from falling inside? Or is this tale of three simply not meant to be?
